Snow

What happens when it doesn't snow?
If you are a ski resort, you make snow with machines that drone on all night so grooming machines can spread it around starting at 5:30 a.m. each morning.
Take ear plugs just in case.
Skiing where I went wasn't too bad, despite the fact that most of the runs were shut down or limited, I still had fun.
After a lunch in Taos, we went to Angel Fire. This year, not enough Angel, too much Fire.
The biggest slope looked like an Alpine meadow covered with grass and ready for cows to start grazing.
Too much snow in Japan, too much rain in California and not enough snow and precipitation in the central plains, global warming or just the way the climate is? Perhaps a little of both? Certainly no one believes that all that carbon dioxide has no impact on the atmosphere. The good news is that at least one nation, U. S. is doing something to help reduce those emissions, without a Kyoto Treaty.
Our technology is cleaning the environment, too bad other nations can't do as much as we are.
