There They Go Again....

Okay, I watched the Sunday shows, and look at the thinkgs they are saying now. After they were so disappointed that Karl Rove wasn't indicted by the grand jury, and now, they are so concerned about Bob Woodward who didn't tell them he knew something they didn't, they are now trying to figure out a way to buldoze Presidetn Bush to remove the troops from Iraq.
Did they forget the 3,000 lives lost in the World Trade Center? Do they think if we leave that will somehow stop the terrorist acts? Or will Iraq become a training ground again for terrorists and the oil profits can be used to help terrorists around the world?
No one wants to send troops to a foreign land, and I know you're saying that Saddam Hussein never attacked us, and you have a picture of Donald Rumsfeld with Saddam taken years ago and claim he was an allie. Well, he was an allie, he stalled the Iranian expansion into the middle east by fighting the Iraqis. That effort perhaps stopped Osama bin Laden from becoming powerful before the 1990's, who knows.
If that national media is looking for a great story---thousands of deaths after another terrorist attack---then they wil have it if they force the President to pull troops out of Iraq.
I would rather fight terrorists in Tikrit, than Texas. And what we don't know has happened over the past few years because our secret agents have stopped the attack should perhaps be leaked to the media. Oh, but then Tim Russert and the others would complain that we didn't know about the attacke before and blame the administration again.
It's a sad and dramatic change and it's perhaps time for people to begin to wonder if the Main Stream Media even knows what the words "national security" and "patriotism" means.
Is that too strong?
