Bush, Duke, and Changing Faces

Please Mr. President--GET SOME HELP
I heard some of the President's address to the Naval Academy in his quest to gin up support for the effort to fight terrorism in Iraq, instead of here.
I've met George Bush, and I can tell you the guy has given thousands of speeches around the world and he isn't getting any better.
He needs a speech therapist, and I'm ready to help.
First, Mr. President, do you have an emotional bone in your body? YES, you do. Why don't you let that emotion come through when you speak in a public place. Stop the monotone droning that you and your father are so famous for.
You need to express more and read less. Get in touch with those feelings and begin to express those feelings more and you will be in better shape with the public. We need someone to lead and they need to exhort us to accomplish great things, we need a cheerleader and we need it NOW.
Just for grins, go and get all the speeches of President Ronald Reagan from the Library and watch them some weekend at Camp David. Present emotions and feelings like Reagan, and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE by giving shorter and better speeches and you CAN change. If you continue to do what you are doing your poll numbers won't get better. But you haven't really cared about poll numbers anyway.
Duke Quits
Congressman Randy Duke Cunningham has resigned caught up in a bribery scheme.
Democrats are licking their chops saying it's part of the culture of corruption. There are bad apples everywhere. I have a riend who explained he knew Duke from back in Missouri, and he was a showoff back when he was a pilot in Viet Nam. While he accomplished good things in congress, this doesn't help anyone in government because it makes them all look bad. The truth is for every bad congressman and corrupt or just plain stupid public official there are hundreds of others and thousands of public employees who work for us that are the greatest people in the world.
Thanks Duke, you tear my heart out.
Changing Faces
The good news is that French doctors have replaced part of a face of a woman. The bad news is it wasn't Hillary. Too tough? Sorry Hill.
Sadly the face of the media hasn't changed, they are linking the Duke story with the Scooter Libby story. I made a comment how the Libby story was about gossip and the federal prosecutor is now saying that's indictable to gossip with a reporter and not remember it the way the reporter remembered things. Yeah, it's that bad.
Here's the deal, what Bill Clinton did with Monica was worse. That's because what Bill did endangered national security. Could Bill have been forced by blackmail to do something under the threat of letting the media know about his "indiscretions". You bet it would have. In fact, if Osama bin Laden had known about the things BC did in the Oval Office, he could have told the president that if he came after terrorists, then they would destroy the United State's by having the media get the story about his Monica activities. If it had been a Republican, the media would have had a different reaction you know--just the facts that liberals find hard to swallow.
It could have, and may have been discussed in the White House or CIA and FBI, we'll never know. But the bottom line is that what Bill Clinton did wasn't about sex, it was about endangering national security interests because he couldn't keep his zipper up.
