What a Difference an 'R' Makes

It is amazing the difference in the way political party members react to crisis.
When democrats are caught in a sex scandal, they admit to what happened and then "go back to work for the American people and the great state of (your state's name here).
In fact, the Democrats (like Bill Clinton) say it was something that was "personal" and didn't have anything to do with being President. Wait a minute, don't you think some bad guys could blackmail a president if they know something like this about him? Sure they could, but he admitted it and then it's supposed to go away.
Sen. Larry Craig is a Republican, so he will have to resign, because that's what Republicans do. First, the GOP never demands Democrats to resign for their transgressions. It's curious. Maybe it's believed that a damaged Democrat is easier to beat than an unknown in a special election.
In Oklahoma, there is a state senator who was caught drunk driving....again. Where are the demands for his head on a pike and resignation?
Maybe because this guy is from a part of the state where hard living and drinking are acceptable.
Oh well,
