Summer---It's Almost Over

I know, it's hot, Hot, HOT outside, but I can tell it's almost Fall.
I love the way the seasons change so delicately. Most people don't get a chance to feel the nuance involved with the seasonal change because they go from air conditioned house to air conditioned car, to air conditioned buildings and back. Few get up early enough to feel the cool of the morning as the Sun breaks delicately over the horizon.
What a great time to feel the cool, knowing that the weather will continue to get cooler and cooler as the days get shorter and shorter before the Autumnal Equinox finally arrive.
The Summer heat begins to wane, school starts and the crispness of Fall tickles us with the promise of sweaters, warmer clothes and football.
The biggest event that's associated with the coming of school is the Great State Fair of Oklahoma. A favorite of so many, this is the 101st and no one believes that this year's event can surpass the events of the 100th State Fair last year, but miracles happen.
